My top five books

Recently I was tagged by my buddyYardnsacker asking “What are your top five favorite books?” This was a tough question as I have soooo many faves so I picked some that were particularly inspirational to me. :0)  I hope you enjoy!

  1. Interesting list … I’ll check them out.

  2. I haven’t seen Eliot Coleman’s book, but I remember that he was a close friend for many years, and lived nearby, Helen and Scott Nearing, who were the real back-to-the-land organic and raw foodists. They began in 1937 or abouts, in Vermont, and in the 1950′s moved to Harborside, Maine. Their book “Living the Good Life” describes a life of subistence farming and social consciousness, spirituality. They were mentors for the counter culture of the ’60s.
